'Family' and 'love & care' are two of our core values at our centre. We feel the best way to display and act on our values is to provide a homely environment where our infants have their own area to grow and explore. We believe in a play based philosophy using open ended resources and access to our outdoor area as much as possible. We believe that care times, such as meals and toileting are for postivie interactions with our infants, which are unhurried moments that helps build trust between kaiako and infant. Our infant numbers are kept low, less than ten infants, with three constant kaiako during our core hours, giving us a ratio of 1 teacher to four infants. This allows us to form strong relationships with the whānau ensuring that we provide the best care for your infant.
